skimmer that really works? My poseiden 2 works like a champ. After a short

I have a 72G BF reef with a 20G refugium and a PoseidonII Skimmer (works great, I  might add. I dump a completely full (large) skimmer cup of stinky black  sludge every week

“This skimmer works GREAT! At first i was having some problems with it, but after numerous emails back and forth, I figured out was what was happening, and I finally got it to work.  The skimmer was pulling out all the additives from the water and it kept filing the cup very fast.  I removed the additives from my water volume, by continually emptying the cup and removing that water from the system down the drain,  until it stopped.

When finally I broke in the skimmer, (2 days or so)  it started pulling out cup after cup of black dirty skimmate (the color of chocolate: the water was dark brown from the LR) I couldn’t believe it, next morning the water was chrystal clear. I'm going to get the same skimmer for my other tank, that I’m planning on converting to a Reef tank!
