Powered by a High Quality GenX 4100 Neeedle Wheel pump, the P2V2 pushes over 1085 GPH! So this means the Poseidon2 Vortex Skimmer can handle a large amount of BIO_Load. The skimmer runs Quiet and produces TONS of Micro Bubbles in the chamber along with What we consider to be crucial... that is a VORTEX (spinning) motion or TURBULENCE in the chamber. The spinning motion increases Skimmate Production by increaseing exposure/reaction time the Micro Bubble have in the reaction chamber before they rise. Most skimmers in this price range and size come with a MUCH smaller pump in the 350 GPH range. We believe this is under powered, we wanted more POWER... we got it, and now we give it to YOU!
